We know it’s not the same, but we’re still enjoying all of the exclusives, news, panels and geeky goodness that’s dropping this week! And, we’re doing our thing by supporting a charity dear to every Browncoat’s heart - Kids Need to Read. This shiny non-profit was started in 2008 by PJ Haarsma, Denise Gary, and our Cap’n, Nathan Fillion, with the help of many Browncoat volunteers. Kids Need to Read works to provide books and support literacy and reading programs to children and youths everywhere, especially in under funded neighborhoods and schools. You can learn more about their important work at kidsneedtoread.org. Want to know where you can find us, support us, and maybe even play a round of our Chopstick Charity Game? First, you can of course visit our virtual stall on SDCC@Home’s virtual Market or at our website! Donations made through our website for the month of July will go to help KNTR. You can also buy Merchandise there or at our Etsy shop, and profits from merch sales through the month of July will also be donated to KNTR. Finally, it wouldn’t be Comic-Con without a Browncoats Meeting Room Panel! We will be transmitting live through Youtube at 6 pm, PST, tonight, Friday July 23, and chatting with some of our favorite people - artist Nick Kremenek, Dawn Anderson-Schlunk from CSTS-Orange County, Melissa Honig of New England Browncoats and co- organizer of this year’s Browncoat Ball in Salem, Mass. and Josh, Jesse and Ricky D from the Sudden But Inevitable Podcast. We hope you’ll tune in and see what’s happening in the Browncoat ‘Verse this year!
